Our Program
We offer wilderness retreats guided by professionals. Our retreats are led by experts and community leaders. We will jointly create a HiN community of Alumni and support research in the field.
01
HiN group screening
Step one is the screening process. During this step, the veterans will undergo a professional evaluation to ensure their readiness for HiN.
02
Pre-trip workshop and group assessment
Step two is where the unit and the professionals meet and begin to build their relationship before the week-long HiN session.
03
HiN
Step three is the week-long HiN session at the K BAR L Ranch in Montana.
04
Follow Up with Participants
In step four, our professionals will reach out to the participants and follow up with them following their return home.
05
Post-trip workshop and a follow-up evaluation
In step five, the professionals and the group will meet for a final session and conduct an additional scientific assessment at TAU.
06
Community
Upon completing the formal HiN program, the group will join the HiN alumni community and will be updated on events and mentoring opportunities.
07
Mentors
HiN will provide mentors in various fields.
08
Events
Staying engaged as an active HiN alumni promotes a strong bond between the veterans.
Alumni can grow into the role of mentor by using their stories and experience.
